The BULLKID-DM<\/strong> experiment is intended for the search of WIMP-like Dark Matter<\/a> <\/em>through direct detection. Specifically, BULLKID – DM<\/strong> is designed to explore the lower mass region of the WIMP parameter space, for masses <1 GeV.

By implementing 16 BULLKID detector arrays<\/a> on silicon substrate, the BULLKID-DM<\/strong> experiment is expected to reach a sensitive target mass of ~600 g, allowing the establishment of competitive exclusion limits<\/a> in a single year of measurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BULLKID-DM<\/strong> experiment will be hosted in the CryoPlatform@LNGS<\/a>, located deep underground, in the Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso<\/strong> (LNGS<\/strong>), under ~3700 m.w.e. of overburden, shielding the experiment from the cosmogenic background radiation found at surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
