A first analysis of models with additional vector-like fermions has been completed: all of them seem either not pertubatively stable or to contain a Landau pole. the embedding of the standard model gauge group into a GUT group like SU(5) seems to lead to the Gaussian fixed point as the only viable asymptoticay &nbsp;safe solution.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local research activities can be developed in such a context.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INFN TS Responsible Host: Marco Fabbrichesi We study possible extensions of the standard model that are asymptotically safe.
