Reaching us with public transit

From the Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Train Station, we recommend to take the Trenitalia local train to Firence Rifredi and take the exit to Via Vasco de Gama (left side taking the direction of movement of your train as a reference). From there, look for the Firence Nova bus stop, on the parallel street Via Panciatichi. Please, check the adjoined map for more details (copyright: OpenStreetMap Foundation). From the Firenze Nova stop, you should take the local bus 59 to stop Schiff.

From Sesto Fiorentino train station, you should take the bus line 66 to Schiff.

Since riding public transit from Firenze is a bit tricky, you might find the usage of GPS-enabled smartphones useful. Specially, the official ATAF 2.0 smartphone app.

Note that the Trenitalia local train tickets are NOT valid for the ATAF bus and tram system (T2 line to the airport and local buses at Firenze and Sesto Fiorentino). Trenitalia tickets can be bought at the train stations, at counters (only Firenze SMN main station) or Trenitalia vending machines. Note that they should be validated before boarding the train. There are validating machines on the platforms.

ATAF tickets can be bought at vending machines (tram stops) and many shops nearby (like kiosks). Check the details here. Note that ATAF bus drivers usually refuse to sell tickets on-board. However, payment on-board with NFC-enabled MasterCard, Maestro, Visa or V PAY card (NO cash, see conditions here) should be usually possible. You should tape the credit card on the green validation machines. ATAF tickets should be validated on the validation machines inside buses or trams.
