NUMEN is a new project at the INFN-Laboratori Nazionali del Sud which uses the MAGNEX spectrometer to measure cross sections for double charge exchange nuclear reactions.
Cross sections can be used to derive relevant information about the nuclear matrix elements of interest for neutrinoless double beta decay.
