The IDEA detector is general purpose detector designed for experiments at future e+<\/sup>e\u2013<\/sup> colliders (FCCee and CepC). It is a new, innovative, and possibly more cost-effective concept of particle detector.<\/p>\nComponents<\/p>\n
\n- Silicon vertex detector<\/li>\n
- Short-drift, ultra-light wire chamber<\/li>\n
- Dual-readout calorimeter<\/li>\n
- Thin and light solenoid coil inside<\/em> calorimeter system<\/li>\n
- Muon system made of 3 layers located inside the return joke<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

The whole central tracker is immersed in a 2 T magnetic field, generated by a very thin, solenoidal, superconducting magnet<\/strong><\/em>.
