This creates an electric field in a part of the fluid volume, sufficient to excite the electrons of the atoms and molecules present in the gaseous state. These electrons, bound with energies between about 1 and 10 eV, undergo an alteration, thus changing the atomic or molecular structure of the fluid in the examined area. The method therefore involves detecting the elements emitted after focusing the beam on the fluid, through detection means, and analysing the detected elements by means of a processing unit.   <\/p>\n<p>The technique used in the present invention is easier to implement and use than traditional techniques.
