It uses a compact accelerator that emits short and intense pulses, with the total dose administered in a single session. Therefore, real-time dose control and precise alignment of the shielding disc are crucial.  <\/p>\n<p>The patented detector uses plastic scintillating plates arranged in a two-dimensional manner, each connected to an optical fiber that carries the light to a photodetector.
