[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2198&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; qode_css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #20415c;\">Come funziona?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Gli acceleratori al plasma sono una nuova tecnologia di accelerazione che, invece delle tradizionali cavit\u00e0 a radiofrequenza, sfrutta le onde in un gas ionizzato per accelerare le particelle. In questo modo \u00e8 possibile realizzare acceleratori con le stesse prestazioni delle macchine tradizionali ma con ingombri e coto molto pi\u00f9 contenuti.<\/p>\n<p>Uno dei problemi dell\u2019utilizzo della tecnologia al plasma \u00e8 la difficolt\u00e0 di focalizzare il fascio se non attraverso quadrupoli magnetici molto ingombranti e costosi. L\u2019invenzione sfrutta il concetto di lente al plasma attiva (APL) per realizzare un oggetto che in un blocco solo contiene due lenti ai capi di un modulo accelerante, una per la focalizzazione e una per la cattura dopo l\u2019accelerazione. Un sistema di questo tipo \u00e8 pi\u00f9 compatto e semplice da installare e utilizzare rispetto a quelli costituiti da tre elementi separati. [\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #20415c;\">Applicazioni<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Un acceleratore al plasma, essendo pi\u00f9 compatto ed economico di quelli tradizionali, permette di essere installato anche in piccoli ospedali.<\/li>\n<li>Analogamente, possono essere utilizzati da aziende medio-piccole per l\u2019analisi dei materiali.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #20415c;\">Vantaggi<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Costi e dimensioni contenute rispetto ad acceleratori tradizionali<\/li>\n<li>Il sistema monolitico permette l\u2019utilizzo di un solo alimentatore per accelerazione e focalizzazione<\/li>\n<li>La struttura monolitica permette l\u2019inserimento del gas in posizione tale da non alterare la simmetria cilindrica e quindi si ottiene una migliore qualit\u00e0 del fascio di particelle<\/li>\n<li>Il fatto che le lenti APL siano un blocco unico con il modulo accelerante elimina i problemi di allineamento.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;
