Da questa misura \u00e8 possibile quantificare la dose di radiazioni ionizzanti assorbita.<\/p>\n<p>Il dispositivo si presta bene alla lettura di diverse tipologie di film radiocromici, consentendo di monitorare livelli di dose da pochi cGy a centinaia di kGy.<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre, \u00e8 possibile sfruttare porzioni ridotte di pellicola ed utilizzare la stessa per diversi irraggiamenti e quindi contenere notevolmente i costi di acquisto dei materiali.
