Per migliorare la sensibilit\u00e0, il materiale magnetico pu\u00f2 essere accoppiato ad un risuonatore. Si tratta di uno strumento risonante, che quindi opera ad una determinata frequenza, che per\u00f2 pu\u00f2 essere facilmente cambiata agendo sul campo magnetizzante. I magnetometri pi\u00f9 sensibili esistenti sono gli SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) e i SERF (Spin-Exchange Relaxation Free), e si basano rispettivamente su giunzioni superconduttive e su atomi alcalini. Nel caso dello SHRIMP, un campo esterno viene rivelato grazie al fatto che causa una rapida variazione della frequenza di risonanza elettronica indotta da un campo statico. L\u2019aggiunta di un risuonatore permette di ridurre notevolmente il rumore di rivelazione, ma ha la controindicazione di imporre una frequenza minima di lavoro (intorno alle decine di MHz).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I vantaggi principali dello SHRIMP sono:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>possibilit\u00e0 di operare a temperatura ambiente, a differenza degli SQUID che invece necessitano di temperature criogeniche;<\/li>\n<li>a differenza dei SERF, la sensibilit\u00e0 \u00e8 indipendente dalle dimensioni fisiche;<\/li>\n<li>l\u2019impedenza di ingresso non deve necessariamente essere 50 \u03a9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;
