La tecnologia attualmente approvata per la produzione di queste cavit\u00e0 prevede la saldatura delle semi celle attraverso la tornitura in lastra e la saldatura a fascio elettronico in vuoto. Tuttavia, la saldatura crea discontinuit\u00e0 superficiali, che in presenza di alti campi acceleranti possono generare l\u2019emissione di elettroni secondari. Questi elettroni causano riscaldamento localizzato sulla superficie e, a cascata, portano alla perdita delle prestazioni superconduttive, un fenomeno che compromette l\u2019efficacia delle cavit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Per superare queste problematiche, l&#8217;invenzione propone un&#8217;innovativa tecnica di produzione delle cavit\u00e0 acceleranti senza l\u2019uso di saldature, utilizzando la stampa a filo combinata con un braccio meccanico robotizzato. Il braccio meccanico \u00e8 fondamentale per la finitura e per la lavorazione accurata delle superfici interne ed esterne della cavit\u00e0, riducendo ulteriormente la possibilit\u00e0 di difetti. Questa nuova metodologia consente la realizzazione di cavit\u00e0 acceleranti a singolo materiale o a multimateriale, sfruttando la stampa a filo per la creazione del componente. Il processo consente anche la finitura interna ed esterna della cavit\u00e0 tramite lavorazione per asportazione di materiale durante la fase di costruzione. Tale approccio pu\u00f2 essere eseguito sia in ambienti inertizzati a pressione atmosferica sia in condizioni di vuoto.<span
