Questo approccio innovativo, noto come terapia FLASH, ha suscitato un grande interesse nella comunit\u00e0 scientifica e tra le aziende del settore oncologico, stimolando un\u2019intensa attivit\u00e0 di ricerca e sviluppo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"607\" data-end=\"836\">I fasci utilizzati nella terapia FLASH sono caratterizzati da impulsi della durata di pochi microsecondi, con frequenze di ripetizione fino a diverse decine di Hertz e dosi per impulso che variano da pochi Gy fino a decine di Gy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"1258\">L\u2019invenzione riguarda la progettazione e l\u2019utilizzo di un dosimetro capace di effettuare misurazioni di dose in modo lineare su un ampio intervallo di dose per impulso \u2014 da frazioni di Gy\/pulse fino ad almeno 30 Gy\/pulse \u2014 senza richiedere processi produttivi complessi o costosi.
