La nuova struttura \u00e8 caratterizzata da una sezione trasversale non uniforme, che si adatta meglio alla conformazione del campo magnetico. Inoltre, si propone un nuovo schema di lancio a microonde sulla parete della camera.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3155&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; qode_css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #20415c;\">Come funziona?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]L\u2019idea consiste in una cavit\u00e0 risonante per plasmi magnetizzati delle sorgenti ioniche ECR che rompe la simmetria cilindrica finora utilizzata. La nuova forma della cavit\u00e0 \u00e8 sostanzialmente imposta dalla struttura 3D del plasma (e, quindi, del campo magnetico) e garantisce maggiore efficienza nel riscaldamento degli elettroni. Queste nuove strutture consentono altres\u00ec di utilizzare sistemi di lancio delle microonde consistenti in guide d\u2019onda ricavate nella stessa struttura della camera, dalle quali si aprono fenditure diffrattive e consentono una profonda ottimizzazione anche dei sistemi di raffreddamento e in generale degli spazi. Si tratta di un nuovo concetto di accoppiamento Radio Frequenza (RF) &#8211; plasma per le Sorgenti ECR che viene proposto con due approcci innovativi: a) attraverso la nuova forma della camera del plasma per un riscaldamento pi\u00f9 efficiente degli elettroni; b) attraverso la riconfigurazione del relativo sistema di lancio a microonde mediante aperture radianti lungo le pareti laterali della
