Grazie a questa tecnologia, \u00e8 possibile ottenere un tracciamento ad alta granularit\u00e0 con prestazioni temporali eccellenti, con evidenti vantaggi in termini di competitivit\u00e0 economica e scalabilit\u00e0 produttiva.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;invenzione introduce inoltre un&#8217;innovazione nel processo di fabbricazione dei dispositivi integrati CMOS, rendendo possibile la realizzazione di un sensore monolitico avanzato basato sul meccanismo di moltiplicazione interna (LGAD), integrato con un sistema di lettura RSD.<\/p>\n<p>Il dispositivo descritto rappresenta tecnicamente un RSD monolitico: un rivelatore di particelle che combina i benefici dell&#8217;integrazione monolitica in tecnologia CMOS con le prestazioni elevate dei sensori
