A causa della sua specificit\u00e0 per le cellule del tumore in oggetto, questo radiofarmaco si andr\u00e0 a legare alle cellule malate: la radiazione prodotta dal decadimento andr\u00e0 a danneggiare il tumore selettivamente. Di fondamentale importanza \u00e8 la conoscenza della distribuzione di dose all\u2019interno del paziente. Ad oggi la stima di questa distribuzione di dose \u00e8 ottenuta mediante l\u2019applicazione di modelli matematici usando come unico parametro di input la quantit\u00e0 di attivit\u00e0 di radiofarmaco iniettata.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Scopo del progetto WIDMApp \u00e8 la validazione e la ottimizzazione su paziente di una innovativa metodica per la dosimetria in vivo dei trattamenti TRT, caratterizzata da semplicit\u00e0 operativa ed accuratezza molto superiori a quelle delle metodiche oggi in utilizzo. Il metodo proposto si basa sul sistema \u201cWIDMApp\u201d: un sistema multicanale di rivelatori che sia indossabile dal paziente durante vari giorni successivi al trattamento, andando a coprire aree corrispondenti a diversi organi di interesse. I segnali registrati in modalit\u00e0 quasi continua sono successivamente interpretati da un algoritmo software in grado di risalire, a partire dai conteggi misurati dai vari rivelatori, alle attivit\u00e0 presenti negli organi di interesse.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gi\u00e0 dal primo ciclo di trattamento, infatti, il monitoraggio ottenuto tramite WIDMApp potrebbe suggerire se si tratta di un paziente \u201cresponding\u201d (che sta cio\u00e8rispondendo al trattamento), per il quale \u00e8 opportuno proseguire lo stesso, o se sia invece il caso di cambiare approccio terapeutico. I dati raccolti permetteranno di personalizzare la dose data a ciascun paziente, aumentando l\u2019efficacia di trattamento.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4864&#8243;
