Nella MRF, i dati acquisiti vengono utilizzati per creare un\u2019\u201dimpronta digitale\u201d univoca delle propriet\u00e0 dei diversi tipi di tessuto biologico. Tali impronte digitali vengono poi confrontate, attraverso un apposito algoritmo di riconoscimento, con un \u201cdizionario,\u201d in modo da realizzare una mappa quantitativa che mostra le propriet\u00e0 di ciascun tessuto.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;2080&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; qode_css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Il processo, quindi, avviene in tre fasi:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>acquisizione dei dati;<\/li>\n<li>riconoscimento (Pattern Matching);<\/li>\n<li>visualizzazione delle propriet\u00e0 del tessuto.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lo stadio lento \u00e8 la fase 2, perch\u00e9 il tempo di elaborazione aumenta esponenzialmente con le dimensioni del dizionario. Per ogni pixel acquisito \u00e8 infatti necessario paragonare il segnale misurato con quello registrato nel dizionario; ogni confronto \u00e8 eseguito sequenzialmente su CPU o GPU e la ricostruzione completa di un tipico set di dati richiede tempi dell\u2019ordine dei giorni.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La tecnologia proposta invece si basa su un\u2019elaborazione parallela, eseguita attraverso FPGA e una Memoria Associativa appositamente sviluppata, integrate su un ASIC dedicato.
