Per questo, la tecnica di produzione di un bersaglio solido deve garantire un adeguato contatto termico tra il materiale di interesse e il materiale di supporto per favorire la dissipazione del calore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tra le varie tecnologie utilizzate in letteratura, quella Magnetron Sputtering (MS) risulta essere la pi\u00f9 versatile perch\u00e9:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">permette di ottenere film densi e spessi;<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">garantisce un\u2019ottima adesione del materiale su diversi substrati;<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">permette l\u2019utilizzo come backing di una vasta gamma di materiali, dai metalli ai materiali ceramici.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;1813&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; qode_css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tuttavia, il pi\u00f9 grande problema della tecnica standard MS \u00e8 l\u2019elevata perdita del materiale da depositare durante il processo (circa l\u201980%). Questo non \u00e8 conveniente quando vengono impiegati materiali molto costosi, come quelli isotopicamente arricchiti. Il progetto TOTEM si propone quindi di valorizzare i vantaggi della tecnica MS studiando una configurazione alternativa per depositare film spessi, riducendo il pi\u00f9 possibile gli scarti di produzione.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Inoltre, al bersaglio prodotto con tecnica MS \u00e8 associato l\u2019utilizzo di un sistema di dissoluzione ad hoc.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;
