Collimatore per neutroni lenti in grado di migliorare la risoluzione spaziale e la divergenza dei sistemi di imaging neutronico. Il collimatore \u00e8 costituito da canali d\u2019aria intervallati da elementi assorbenti in una configurazione a scacchiera.<\/p>\n

Tale struttura permette di ottenere una parallelizzazione del fascio paragonabile a quella che si pu\u00f2 avere con un collimatore tradizionale a pin-hole ma con un sistema notevolmente pi\u00f9 compatto, rendendo possibile la realizzazione di apparati per l\u2019imaging neutronico molto pi\u00f9 piccoli di quelli attuali.<\/p>\n
