With its strong particle identification capabilities, ALICE\u00a0 <br \/>is optimally suited to study differences in the hadronisation patterns\u00a0 <br \/>across different systems ranging from proton-proton to Pb-Pb\u00a0 <br \/>collisions. Recent results from both the light as well as heavy\u00a0 <br \/>flavour sector will be discussed.
