RPC Techincal coordination

Our group is responsible of the Technical Coordination for the CMS RPC detector, meaning the coordination of all the actions needed on the detector hardware during the installation, maintenance and operation periods.
In 2009 all the RPC chambers were successfully installed both in the barrel and endcaps.

Commissioning was completed and since November 2009 we were ready to record the first events from LHC collisions. During last year RPC detector maintenance has been regularly carried on during short technical access periods, allowing a smooth and effective data taking for the entire LHC run period. Several millions of events have been recorded using both proton-proton and and Heavy Ion collisions.
