Information for selected students
Registration and welcome dinner (Sunday, 23 October 2016)
The reception and registration desk will be open from 17.00 to 20.00 at the Revellino (Via Frangipane, 6 - Bertinoro).
The welcome dinner will be served at 20:30 in the canteen of the Centre (Via Frangipane, 2 - Bertinoro).
Laptop and required software
Students are kindly requested to have their own laptop. The required software is an SSH client, an X11 server (e.g. that provided by cygwin) and a remote desktop client (like rdesktop). There will be a limited number of laptops on request. If needed, please ask the secretariat at least 15 days before the beginning of the school.
Wireless LAN will be available in the conference rooms.
Personal username and password will be given to each participant at the School venue. Instructions on how to connect to the WiFi will be also given. Availability of PCs for general access is not foreseen.
On the last day of the School, students will have the opportunity to test their learning achievements through a written exam. The successful outcome of the test will be reported on a written certificate for those interested, to be requested on arrival, at the registration desk.
A simple attendance certificate will also be available on request.
A shuttle service has been foreseen from Forli' Railway station to CeUB (Bertinoro) on Sunday, October 23rd, 2016 with this timetable:
Departure from Forli'/Railway station (a signal will be put on the bus):
The shuttle will be in Bertinoro in around 20 minutes.
Participants arriving by plane to Bologna airport can find here the bus timetable from AEROPORTO MARCONI (BLQ airport) to BOLOGNA STAZIONE FS (Bologna railway station).
The line is called BLQ and the oneway ticket costs around 6,00 Euro (tickets purchased on board).
