The company is specialized in the mechanical fabrication and surface treatments of SRF cavities in niobium. Indeed, Zanon has a dedicated chemical area with a machine for the electro-polishing and another for the horizontal rotating BCP of the internal surface for the SRF cavities. Zanon has also a big cleanroom area, divided in ISO7 and ISO4. In general Zanon has a deep experience in the fabrication of ultra-high vacuum components and in the electron-beam welding of many different materials (Nb, Ti, SS, special Cu, etc.)
