To reach this ambitious goal, the project develops cutting-edge technologies, including high-intensity particle beams, state-of-the-art detectors, innovative data acquisition systems, and advanced analysis tools. The collaboration unites leading researchers from Europe, Switzerland, and the United States, working across three major international laboratories:\u00a0<strong>Fermilab (FNAL)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL)<\/strong>\u00a0in the USA, and the\u00a0<strong>Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI)<\/strong>\u00a0in Switzerland.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-35d27c3 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"35d27c3\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9952b31 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"9952b31\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-81593c6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"81593c6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Searching for the Unseen: Charged Lepton Flavour Violation<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-66785ef elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"66785ef\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A key goal of NEMESIS is the search for\u00a0<em>Charged Lepton Flavour Violation (cLFV)<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 processes that are forbidden in the Standard Model but could appear in the presence of new physics. These searches are conducted using the world\u2019s most intense muon beams at\u00a0<strong>Mu2e<\/strong>\u00a0(FNAL),\u00a0<strong>MEG II<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Mu3e<\/strong>\u00a0(PSI). Muons are ideal probes for such studies thanks to their clean experimental signatures and rapidly advancing detector technologies. By joining forces, these experiments can increase sensitivity by up to\u00a0<strong>four orders of magnitude<\/strong>\u00a0beyond current limits, probing mass scales up to\u00a0<strong>10\u2074 TeV<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 far beyond what current or planned colliders can reach.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b0fe256 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"b0fe256\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4580fd3 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"4580fd3\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5766cf4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5766cf4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Precision Measurements: Probing the Foundations of the Universe<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0319ce2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0319ce2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>At PSI, NEMESIS contributes to world-leading experiments using ultracold neutrons and polarized muon beams to perform high-precision measurements. Among these are the\u00a0<strong>n2EDM<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>muEDM<\/strong>\u00a0experiments, which aim to detect an\u00a0<em>Electric Dipole Moment (EDM)<\/em>\u00a0for the neutron and muon, respectively.
