Thanks to the Schengen Agreement, citizens of Schengen member states can enter Italy with a valid identification document and travel freely throughout the Schengen Area without a visa. In addition, citizens of <span style=\"font-weight: 800;\">over 60 non-EU countries<\/span> may enter Italy <span style=\"font-weight: 800;\">visa-free<\/span> for tourism, business, or short visits of <span style=\"font-weight: 800;\">up to 90 days within a 180-day<\/span> period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Official visa information for foreign visitors intending to come to Italy is available on the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Farnesina).
