Participation in the event implies acceptance of this Code.<\/p>\n    <\/section>\n\n    <section class=\"srf-coc-sec\" id=\"srf-coc-expected-behaviour\">\n      <h2>Expected Behaviour<\/h2>\n      <p>Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner and to contribute to an environment where everyone is treated with respect, dignity, and consideration. This includes:<\/p>\n      <ul>\n        <li>fostering open, constructive, and non-aggressive discussion, respecting diverse opinions, experiences, and backgrounds;<\/li>\n        <li>encouraging active and equitable participation, including by those joining remotely;<\/li>\n        <li>using appropriate and respectful language in presentations and interactions;<\/li>\n        <li>criticising ideas rather than people;<\/li>\n        <li>respecting privacy and personal space;<\/li>\n        <li>helping to prevent and oppose harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and other inappropriate conduct;<\/li>\n        <li>promptly notifying the organisers of any behaviour that may contravene this Code.<\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n      <p>Behaviour contrary to these principles includes:<\/p>\n      <ul>\n        <li>unwelcome sexual attention;<\/li>\n        <li>unwanted physical contact or invasion of personal space;<\/li>\n        <li>stalking, or deliberate intimidation;<\/li>\n        <li>threats or personal attacks;<\/li>\n        <li>sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate images or content on slides, posters, profiles, or event channels;<\/li>\n        <li>harassing photography or recording;<\/li>\n        <li>sustained disruption of talks, sessions, or other event activities;<\/li>\n        <li>encouraging or inciting conduct contrary to this Code.<\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n    <\/section>\n\n    <section class=\"srf-coc-sec\" id=\"srf-coc-reporting-concerns\">\n      <h2>Reporting Concerns<\/h2>\n      <p>If you experience or witness a violation of this Code, or have any concerns about safety or inclusion, please report it immediately:<\/p>\n      <ul>\n        <li>to a member of staff or the Organising Committee;<\/li>\n        <li>if you work for INFN or are an INFN associate, you can also report it to the INFN Confidential Counsellor: <a href=\"mailto:cons.fiducia@infn.it\">cons.fiducia@infn.it<\/a><\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n      <p>Reports will be handled with due promptness, impartiality, and confidentiality, and personal data will be shared strictly on a need-to-know basis.<\/p>\n    <\/section>\n\n    <section class=\"srf-coc-sec\" id=\"srf-coc-consequences\">\n      <h2>Consequences<\/h2>\n      <p>Individuals who are asked to cease unacceptable behaviour are expected to comply immediately.<\/p>\n      <p>A breach of this Code entails, depending on the seriousness of the breach and in compliance with the principle of proportionality, the application of one or more of the following measures:<\/p>\n      <ul>\n        <li>verbal or written warning;<\/li>\n        <li>removal from the event without refund, where applicable;<\/li>\n        <li>exclusion from future INFN events;<\/li>\n        <li>notification to the person\u2019s home institution or to the competent authorities, where appropriate.<\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n      <p>For INFN personnel, the procedures and measures provided by internal regulations apply.<\/p>\n      <p>Where feasible, the individuals concerned will be given the opportunity to be heard before measures are adopted, without prejudice to urgent interventions required to protect safety.<\/p>\n      <p>This Code complements, without replacing, applicable laws and INFN regulations.<\/p>\n    <\/section>\n\n    <section class=\"srf-coc-sec\" id=\"srf-coc-protection-from-retaliation\">\n      <h2>Protection from Retaliation<\/h2>\n      <p>Retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports a violation or cooperates with the handling of a report is prohibited.
