At this period, CNAF (IT Centre of the Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics - INFN) celebrates its 50 years!

Established to develop and to exploit early devices to digitalize tracks of elementary particles in the frames of the bubble-chambers, the Centre has been instrumental in designing and realising the national research network and, recently, has made significant contribution for the installation of the Italian and European Grid infrastructure becoming one of the main first level site with the realization of the Tier-1.

The anniversary will be celebrated by an event which takes place on 18 April afternoon p.v. at Physics Department of the University of Bologna.
