Precision cosmology can shed light on neutrino physics. However, given the model dependence of cosmological constraints, they must be interpreted within the framework of ground-based neutrino experiments.

In this talk I will discuss the physical effects induced by neutrinos on cosmological observables, reviewing current constraints and elaborating on their interpretation. I will also show how future galaxy surveys can potentially pin dow the neutrino mass sum.
