HEPscape!++ @ smartHEP
SMARTHEP
HEPscape! has been adapted in English through the SMARTHEP Training Network, bringing the escape room format to an international outreach context.

The SMARTHEP outreach adaptation
The SMARTHEP Training Network is an Innovative Training Network that brings together scientists from the four major LHC collaborations at CERN. It trains Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) to drive the development of real-time analysis together with specialists from computer science and industry. More information is available at www.smarthep.org.
As part of the SMARTHEP outreach hackathon held in June 2024, the SMARTHEP ESRs prepared videos for the HEPscape! escape room in the languages of the network, including English, Spanish, German and Thai. The hackathon page is available at indico.cern.ch/e/smarthep-outreach-hackathon.
English material
The first release of the English HEPscape! video is available on Zenodo, with DOI and all the material needed to present the activity at English-speaking host institutes: zenodo.org/records/14575672.
The translated material, including scripts, video direction and presentation resources for the English version of the HEPscape! escape room, is available on GitHub: github.com/SMARTHEP/HEPScape-English.
Releases for the other languages are expected to follow in 2025.
