VISA Information

Travelling to Italy is well-organised and convenient, regardless of the purpose of your visit. Thanks to the Schengen Agreement, citizens of Schengen member states can enter Italy with a valid identification document and travel freely throughout the Schengen Area without a visa. In addition, citizens of over 60 non-EU countries may enter Italy visa-free for tourism, business, or short visits of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

Official visa information for foreign visitors intending to come to Italy is available on the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Farnesina). Please consult Farnesina website to determine whether a visa is required for your visit to Italy.

The Workshop organisers can provide an official invitation letter upon request to registered participants who require it for visa purposes. Please note that processing the invitation letter may take up to four weeks. To submit your request, kindly complete the dedicated Invitation Letter Request form.
