Cosmocube is a small telescope designed to detect cosmic rays and measure their properties, such as flux at sea level and direction. The telescopes has been built by the INFN Sezione di Pisa and the DSFTA of the University of Siena.

Cosmocube is part of OCRA, the INFN outreach project on cosmic rays.

A special cosmocube has been employed in a project on board of Shibumi, a boat that is travelling in the Atlantic ocean, on which the Barberis family mixes an adventorous lifestyle and Physics experiments. They are the protagonists of the new series of “Physics among the waves”. When they arrived in the Canary Islands, they visited the astronomical observatory “Roque de los muchachos” in La Palma, famous for the many telescopes that are hosted.
