Andrea Mazzolari (PhD in Physics in 2010) is a staff research engineer at the INFN Section of Ferrara. He is an expert in manufacturing and characterizing bent crystals for channeling experiments. Since many years, Dr. Mazzolari is in charge of bent crystals design and manufacturing through techniques developed in Ferrara. He has been the PI of two national INFN projects (LOGOS and LAUPER) dedicated to developing novel techniques to realized bent crystals.
