What is INFN Accelerators
INFN Accelerators is a committee, composed of various specialists with extensive experience in accelerators and accelerator-related technologies, which aims to:
- To act as a link between the community of accelerator experts in INFN and the Institute’s top bodies (President, Executive Board, Governing Council).
- Promote the formation of thematically related networks of accelerator experts on topics of relevant interest with the identification of relevant moderators, and play a coordinating role between them.
- Stimulating the harmonisation of the Institute’s expertise and equipment in this area.
- To promote participation in regional, national and international calls for proposals.
- To play an advisory role, at the request of management, in the field of particle accelerators with regard to the promotion of projects or participation in them, as well as on INFN’s strategic directions in the sector.
