We are pleased to announce the ESRF-ENRICH OASYS School (EOS26), which will be held at the ESRF, Grenoble (France), on May 20–22, 2026.
EOS26 provides a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to the design, modelling, ray-tracing simulations, and optimization of X-ray optical systems. The school is organized in the framework of the COST Action CA24131-ENRICH: European Network for radiation-detection based Research and Innovation addressing increasing societal CHallenges.
The main goal of EOS26 is to train participants in the modelling, characterization and optimization of X-ray optical systems by combining analytical approaches with numerical simulations including ray tracing. Attendees will gain practical experience using simulation tools within OASYS, a powerful and widely used simulation environment for X-ray optics, including hands-on training.
All the information and the registration can be found at this link: https://indico.esrf.fr/event/241
Deadline for registration is set to 15/03/2026.
The ENRICH COST Action will provide full financial support for up to 15 participants; people who are interested in receiving this support must apply for it at the registration stage and will be asked to upload a CV.
The final list of supported participants will be decided by the ENRICH Core Group, and in particular by the Leaders of WG3, based on the CV and the available budget. Information about the final assignment of the support will be given along March 2026.
We hope this school will be the occasion for fruitful discussion and knowledge sharing and we look forward to meet you in Grenoble!
