The TOP (time of propagation) is the Belle II detector devoted to the particle identification in the central region. The Belle II Torino group contributed to the design, the construntion and the installation of the TOP detector.

The Belle II Torino and Padova groups conceived, designed and contructed the laser calibration system of the TOP detector. The ongoing activity is the test and the calibration of the installed modules. The Belle II Torino group is also involved in physics studies using the Belle II Monte Carlo generator.
