Local research activities can be related to

Cosmology, in particular to the possible application of the Renormalization Group to investigate the power spectrum of two-point correlation function of large scale structure in its non-linear regime.
Quantum field theory in curved space and quantum theory of gravity, with particular emphasis on the use of functional perturbative and non-perturbative methods to understand universal aspects of quantum gravity, including its critical properties and its spectrum.

Interplay between the two aspects is not discouraged!
