In order to calibrate the detectors of the experiment, it is important to probe them with a very precise amount of energy and measure their response. One option currently under investigation is the possibility of exciting the 33 keV emission lines of Lanthanum using an external source of either 241Am or 60Co. The isothropic emission of X-rays allows to irradiate all the detectors that constitute BULLKID-DM as long as a Lanthanum target is placed inside the experimental volume and it is struck with high-energy X-rays such as those produced by 241Am or 60Co.
