The BULLKID-DM experiment will be hosted in the hall B of the INFN underground laboratories of Gran Sasso (LNGS). The site was selected because the over 1000m of solid rock that of the mountain will effectively reduce the cosmic ray background allowing BULLKID-DM to reach extremely low backgrounds thanks also to the room temperature and cryogenic particle shields as well as the cryogenic anti-coincidence veto system.
The cryoplatform is instrumented with an OXFORD Proteox 3He/4He dilution refrigerator with a base temperature below 10 mK and the capacity of sustaining as much as 250 kg on the lowest-temperature stage.
