The current generation of readout electronics relies on a Custom Off-The-Shelf Xilinx RFSoC ZCU216 evaluation board equipped with a custom balun board developed by the group at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and features room-temperature low-noise amplifiers. The board features 16 radio-frequency channels so that one single board can read out the full BULLKID-DM stack!
Current development is ongoing to otpimise the firmware and its softwar suite for pulse triggering and low-noise measurements.
