CSN5 coordinates technological research and promotion of the use of fundamental physics instruments, methods and technologies in other sectors. The INFN is a firm point of reference in Italy and worldwide for the development of next-generation prototypes and the production of today’s particle accelerators. These are used not only in fundamental physics research projects, but also in other areas of research and economic and social life.
