TEONGRAV

Theory of Gravitational Wave Sources

Abstract

TEONGRAV works on the modelling of gravitational wave sources, such as neutron stars and black holes. These models will be used to interpret current and future observations by gravitational wave detectors (e.g., Virgo, ET, and LISA) in order to better understand the properties of compact objects and to test general relativity and alternative models of gravity. TEONGRAV assembles the largest Italian collaboration of theoretical physicists and astrophysicists working in this field.
