Italy–Japan Symposium on Joint Activities in Fundamental Physics
From March 9 to 12, 2026, the Kore University of Enna will host the Italy–Japan Symposium on Joint Activities in Fundamental Physics. This international workshop focuses on the long-standing collaboration between Italy and Japan in the fields of nuclear physics, nuclear astrophysics, and particle physics.
The Symposium aims to highlight existing joint research initiatives while outlining new strategic perspectives for scientific cooperation. The event is organized by the INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics) under the patronage of the Embassy of Japan in Italy, as part of the official celebrations for the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
