Students’ Programme
Opportunities for students and early-career researchers at SRF 2027
The SRF 2027 Students’ Programme offers a rich set of activities — from tutorials and poster sessions to travel grants and prizes — designed to support the next generation of the superconducting radio-frequency community.
The programme will start with the Tutorials, held before the conference from June 24 to 26 in Milan, a cosmopolitan metropolis considered one of the world’s fashion and design capitals. The lectures will give an in-depth overview of SRF-related subjects for students and scientists new to the field, or those who simply want a refresher.
The conference will provide opportunities for students to present their work. A student poster session will be held on Sunday 27th June in conjunction with the welcome reception in Padua, in the stunning setting of the historic cloister of the Abbey of Santa Giustina.
A number of grants will be offered to students from all regions working in the field of RF superconductivity science and technology to attend SRF 2027. Students and early-career researchers who recently obtained their PhD within the past 3 years will be eligible for the Best Student Poster and Early Career Investigator prizes.
