SRF 2027 will be held from June 27th to July 3rd at Padova Congress, Via N. Tommaseo, 59 – Padua – Italy.
Padova Congress is an internationally oriented venue that can host events for more than 3,000 people. Just a few steps from the vibrant historic center of Padua, the new Padova Congress Center, inaugurated in April 2022 and designed by Japanese archistar Kengo Kuma, is the ideal location for this Conference.

Padua, one of the few places in the world with two UNESCO heritage sites
Padua is one of Italy’s most historic and culturally rich cities, where medieval streets, renaissance squares, and vibrant university life blend seamlessly. Home to one of Europe’s oldest universities (founded in 1222), the city has been a center for groundbreaking developments in science, medicine, and astronomy.
Visitors will encounter world-class art, monumental churches, serene gardens, and lively piazzas all within walking distance, making Padua a perfect destination for culture, learning, and exploration during SRF 2027.
Padua, located in the heart of northern Italy, is well connected to all the main Italian and European cities. It is only 35 minutes from Venice Marco Polo International Airport. The proximity to Venice, which can be reached by train, is an additional element of attractiveness.

The Conference will be preceded by the Tutorials, to be held from June 24 to 26 in the historical palace of the Milan University, near Duomo of Milan.
Milan is a major international center known as one of the world’s fashion capitals, but also offers a unique blend of culture, history, and modern lifestyle.
Milan is the premier transportation, economic, and industrial hub of Northern Italy. It is served by three major international airports — Malpensa (MXP), Linate (LIN), and Orio al Serio (BGY) — offering extensive connections to major European and intercontinental destinations.
Milan is also a central node for Italy’s high-speed rail network. From Milano Centrale station, Padua is reached in approximately 1 hour 10 minutes by high-speed train, with frequent daily departures operated by Trenitalia and Italo. After the Tutorials, participants can travel directly to Padua in time for the Conference opening on June 27.
