DORIAN intends to provide diagnostic support services in the field of neurodegenerative and neuro-oncological diseases, alongside the current qualitative evaluation criteria of the quantitative methods based on automatic calculation and analysis tools. In addition, the development of a web platform that provides robust and user-friendly quantitative support for the analysis of magnetic resonance neuroimaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET) is envisaged.
The proposal is structured as support for the diagnosis through an innovative PET and MRI analysis methodology, with a simple and safe use, in line with the recent data processing regulations.

The project comprises the creation of a web service with encrypted data anonymization on the “client” side and access to distributed computing resources on the “server” side. In its simplest version, the service consists of a data analysis (individual patient, images and metadata) with a report containing a set of indicators being returned:
