X-FORM

Additive manufacturing through direct deposition of successive layers of powders without the use of binders or solvents. The deposition is carried out inside a graphite mold which is then used for powder sintering through Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS).

Compared to existing techniques, this technique allows skipping the binder removal process, is fast, economical, and can be used to create objects in composite materials.
