The 16th International Workshop on Top Quark Physics (TOP2023) will take place in Traverse City, Michigan, USA from 24-29 September 2023. It is hosted with support from US institutes. The aim is to bring together experimentalists and theorists to present and discuss the latest developments in top-quark physics. Participants can now register on the conference website, https://www.top2023.us/, where a link to a preliminary timetable and other information on travel and social events can be found.
Early registration will close on 9th June.
The TOP2023 edition marks the first time that the workshop takes place in the US. We will celebrate this occasion with a Tevatron Top Reunion event on the 24th of September.
The main program consists of plenary talks by theorists and experimentalists alike, as well as a half-day theory mini-workshop. Young scientists (theorists and experimentalists) are especially encouraged to participate, and there will be a block of short plenary talks allowing them to present their work in this year’s ``Young Scientists Forum’'. Theory abstracts for YSF talks can be submitted via the indico conference page by 5 July, and we ask that more senior scientists alert their younger collaborators to this opportunity.
Another highlight of the workshop is the poster session, which features a wide range of top-quark related topics this year (theory, phenomenology, machine learning, detector instrumentation). Poster abstracts for non-CMS/ATLAS content should be submitted by 5 July, detailed instructions are on the indico conference page.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you in Traverse City for TOP2023!
