Postdoctoral Researcher in Targets for Nuclear Physics at GANIL (all genders)

The Grand Accélérateur National d’Ions Lourds (Caen, France) is a national research infrastructure based on the use of ion beams. Its fields of research are fundamental research in nuclear physics and nuclear astrophysics, the study of materials under irradiation and nanostructuring, molecular collisions and the interstellar medium, radiobiology and innovative techniques for imaging and therapy of certain cancers.

Within the framework of the European EURO-LABS project, GANIL is looking for a

Postdoctoral Researcher in Targets for Nuclear Physics (all genders)
with focus on the development of new techniques and processes to produce high-quality, thin targets sustaining very intense heavy ion beams.
