Coaxial connector for thermal optimization of electrical connections in the cryogenic systems

The technology refers to the field of electrical connectors, in particular to a coaxial connector for the thermal optimization of the electrical connections in the cryogenic systems. More specifically, the technology is particularly suitable for cryostats.

How does it work?

The patented connector solves a crucial technical problem typical of cryostats. In fact, increasing the number of connections within a cryostat results in a deterioration of the thermal balance, compromising the base temperature and the overall efficiency.

This innovative connector guarantees excellent thermalization at the temperature of the anchoring surface, and at the same time minimizes the thermal load, by thermally insulating the areas at lower temperatures. This allows the number of connections to be scaled up without compromising the thermal performance of the system.
