Innovation,Networking and technology Development are the keyword of INFN CONNECT, the new initiative dedicated to INFN personnel aimed to strengthen the link between scientific research and industrial world.
INFN generates a huge amount of valuable technologies that can potentially be applied in other fields beside scientific research. This potential is often not exploited because the transfer from lab to fab needs market analysis, relationships with industrial partners, intellectual property management, application-oriented development; activities normally not comprised in typical scientific projects.
