Research to Innovation Network (R2I): a CERN - INFN partnership for Business Incubation Centres (BIC). In a highly competitive and competitive-cooperative environment, know-how and cutting-edge technologies in the field of high energy physics are constantly being developed at INFN and CERN. INFN and CERN created the R2I network with the aim of improving the impact of these technologies on society. R2I-Network is the Italian network of BIC (Business Incubation Centres) that have access to CERN and INFN technologies. By integrating the incubation and the acceleration capacity of BICs with high-tech expertise, the INFN intends to create the best conditions able to favor the birth of Italian start-ups and make them grow rapidly.
